The first generation of the Hudson family started working in a barbecue place when he was in 8th grade. At that young age, he was already exposed in the reality as he commuted to Atlanta to work at the Old Hickory Barbecue. Winton and Willy Wallace taught him how to serve cook pork shoulders and serve customers well.
CEO and Second-generation Hudson, Scot was just eleven years old when the family business has opened in Douglasville, Georgia. Alongside his mother and father, Scot worked in their barbecue place every single day after school. He was responsible for creating their infamous hickory fries he always had an eye for culinary deliciousness.
Together the three generations are dedicated and passionate about making the now barbecue empire. Nearly 50 years since the family business in Douglasville was established, the Hudson’s continues to be a local institution and dominating the barbecue.
